Free Zilker and ALL Austin parks from privatization.

The Free Zilker Coalition (FZ) may endorse and fundraise for some candidates, but we just wanted to get people thinking about the stakes and our future. Environmentalists, parks activists and anti-gentrification activists are generally getting our asses kicked at boards and commissions because they are pro-growth cultists, neoliberalists and YIMBYs appointed by City Council members who want their appointees to kick our asses. Then we go to City Council and get our asses kicked there, too!!!

In our opinion, the next City Council election is a Hail Mary. We have to get the developer influence and booster corruption balanced, at least a little. This election needs to be a referendum on: the HOME Initiative, gentrification and fair and open process within the city.
